As Veritas Bible Church, we value covenant membership as an expression of being the body of Christ in the South King County area. Our God is a Covenant-keeping God, which is why the fundamental institutions that have been created by God himself, of marriage and family, are covenantal relationships by their very nature. The Church is God's household and family. This is why local church membership is a covenant reality. Membership is extremely important when it comes to living out the imperatives of Scripture as the household of God- loving and serving others, submitting to overseers/ elders, gathering with the church for worship on the Lord's day, and partaking of the ordinance of communion to list a few. Membership Day is an opportunity to learn more about the 'what' and 'why' of church membership and understand the responsibilities and duties of being a member of the local church.
