As a congregation that is learning the cultural landscape and belief system of our Muslim neighbors, we want to equip our people to have real-life conversations with Muslims about the Gospel. Attending this dinner is a step in that direction. This is not a syncretistic event. There will be no prayers offered to Allah or “preaching” by any Imams or other Muslim attendees. This is a dinner of hospitality that we are extending to our Muslim neighbors to provide an opportunity to talk about Jesus.
